Scott and Becky’s wedding was a real life fairytale.
Knowing each other for years, growing up together, going through school together, but their paths led them in different ways after leaving school. Years later, good old Facebook brought this adorable couple back together and here we are on their wedding day.
They decided to get married at Thrumpton Hall. It’s an old English country house, set in the quaint village of Thrumpton, Nottinghamshire. It is a magical house with history dating back to the 16th Century. A perfect wedding venue for couples who like traditional, yet rustic styling.
Both Scott and Becky decided to get ready at the venue, albeit in different areas of the house. Scott looking rather daper in his suit. He opted for a traditional three piece suit, along with his groomsmen – two of which were his sons – very proud dad.
As the girls giggled, the Prosecco flowed, hair and make up was expertly done. Becky decided on a deep purple theme and the bridesmaids looked stunning. Carrying on the purple theme, Becky also adorned some purple wellies, should the typical english weather make an appearance. Becky got her wish some time later, and gave a wellies a try out during a shower.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom surprised their guests when two white Shire Horses appeared, ready to whisk the couple off for a short romantic ride. Guests gasped with delight, tears flowed and the young girls screamed with excitement. From being a very young girl, Becky’s wish was always to have two white Shire horses on her wedding day. Today, her wish came true and off they went around the grounds of Thrumpton Hall.
As the guests were seated for their Wedding Breakfast, we grabbed a few minutes with the couple to grab a few shots, and to give Becky and Scott, a few moments to enjoy each other. Moments in which they treasured.
The bride and groom hired Ben Hicklin – Master of Ceremonies! Well, where do I start He had the guests captivated and amused all day – a true delight to work with and must for any wedding.
Evening celebrations began, the dance floor grew and the Photo Booth was a hive of activity as the guests really enjoyed themselves.
A truly superb day and we wish Becky and Scott lots of love and hugs for the future.
